Beth's Bakes and Quirky Cakes - Set your imagination free...
What happens when you order cakes

Ideas

  • When you get in contact with me, I can either help you with ideas or you can help me! It is completely up to you what you decide on for your perfect cake but I have plenty of suggestions that may help or develop your ideas.

  • Once you have decided on your design, we can discuss quotes. Prices vary depending on the size, ingredients and details of your cake but this is something we can discuss over email or by phone. If you are happy with my quote then I usually have half the full cost as a deposit then the other half on receipt of your cake. The deposit however is flexible depending on price and the length of time before the date of delivery. If the cakes full price is less than £40 then I am happy to receive payment in full on the day. I gratefully except cash or cheque.

The basics

  • I can make plenty of different sorts of cakes such as vanilla, chocolate, lemon, coffee, carrot and pretty much whatever you like (I have a lovely recipe for chocolate beetroot cake!). All cakes will contain wheat and dairy but I do make cakes tailored to suit specific diets. And as with most products, I must say that although I don't put nuts in unless specified, it is always something to be wary of when buying in products from outside your own kitchen.

Delivery

  •  I am happy to deliver cakes throughout the south-west and prices for delivery begin at £10. If you are in the Truro/Perranporth area however, delivery is free.

  •  Cakes will be delivered on a board in a box and are easily transported just incase you need to take the cake on from our drop off point. I have swapped cake for cash in many motorway service areas!

Cancellation

  • If you cancel your cake order within a week of the delivery date then a small charge may be made for loss of earnings and inconvenience.
